Long considered the “wild man” of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Artimus Pyle’s powerful and distinctive double bass drumming helped define the legendary Skynyrd sound.

Artimus got his first real break at the Charlie Daniels band’s Volunteer Jam. His first recording lists — Artimus Pyle, percussion. Then with other work for the Marshall Tucker Band, Artimus became known as a powerful session drummer.

Using his connections with Charlie Daniels and Marshall Tucker, both acts that toured often with Skynyrd, Artimus met with Ronnie VanZant and Ed King at Studio One in Doraville, Georgia. The results of that meeting — Saturday Night Special — greatly impressed Ronnie. Artimus’ live debut with the band took place in Jacksonville’s Sgt Pepper’s Club in October 1974. The years Artimus played with Skynyrd were the years that solidified the legend behind the band. Quickly developing into one of the nation’s top touring draws with a grueling schedule of 300 shows a year, the constant work and touring paid off. By October 20, 1977, Skynyrds songs had become radio staples.

Jasmine Cain was born in the quaint little town of Sturgis, SD which becomes a motorcycle mecca once a year so it was a natural choice for her to become the star child of the motorcycle world. She was raised on horses with country music and had a love affair with the blues before graduating to rock & roll. Her gypsy style makes her a ghostly reminder of the queen, Janis Joplin and her motorcycle brothers and sisters feel and instant connection to her spirit. One listen to her raspy, soulful voice and you will be transformed. It's impossible to not be moved by the passion and emotion that is heard in every song. Jasmine is a multi-dimensional character. Dubbed the "Pixie with an Axe" from Easyrider Magazine, she slams the bass guitar as if it were an extension of her own body. She commands the stage with an intensity that is unmatched. From a songwriting perspective, Jasmine writes songs that connect with the audience in a powerful way and with 8 JPF awards for songwriting and 2 Billboard nodes, she has definitely proved that she can hold her own with the best of the best. Poised to take over the world 1 song at a time, Jasmine Cain is ready for lift off.
